  1. i have a mixed review as i dined in on saturday and absolutely loved it, we thought the food was amazing and incredibly well priced on top of that. the mac n cheese in particular was so nice that i decided to order through deliveroo today, it took an hour for my order to be made (a pizza, side and a dip) and i actually laughed at the portion size of the delivery mac n cheese

  2. Quite a disappointing evening. We visited on a friend’s recommendation, and overall, I don’t think Pizza East is a bad restaurant. Rather, it had been soured by a poor experience.

I had a pizza Diavola, which was quite nice. My partner, on the other hand, had her order forgotten. When the staff eventually came to remind themselves of what she had ordered it was rushed through with insane amounts of rocket (see pictures) and mushrooms – which weren’t advertised as being an ingredient of the pizza.

My partner ended up predominantly eating the sides rather than the main she had ordered due to the false advertising on the menu, which had left us feeling a little half empty.

Service charge was astronomical, which ended up feeling like the cherry on top of a ruined evening.

On a side note, there was exposed wiring in the mens bathroom (see pics). Which is particularly dangerous given the metal light fittings and the obvious wet hands from hand washing. For a restaurant that seems quite fancy, it’s a shame to see such poor workmanship on such basic installations.

  3. I’ve been here so many times, it’s a great place for any occasion. I’ve been twice within this month, once for my boyfriend’s birthday and again for dinner with friends. The food is tasty, waiters are helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is very nice, we went last night and was served by Dani (sorry if I’ve spelt that wrong hun xx) she’s a delight, banging sense of humour. Thank you for having us, be back soon 🙂

oh and the fungi truffle pizza and GFC dip – I would sell my liver for it

  4. Overpriced for what it is. I paid £15.50 (not including service charge) for this tiny thing with barely any toppings lmao. Like what the heck. And the taste was just fine. Nothing special. Honestly you can find pizza that tastes the same literally anywhere else in the area. Pizza Union/Rudy’s/Pizza Pilgrims literally anywhere and for a better price.

  5. A great find! Myself and my family found this place completely coincidentally and it quickly made it’s way to my top 10 fave pizza spots. The San Daniel Pizza is just phenomenal! The staff is always wonderfully accommodating and attentive. Highly recommend!!

The only critique I can give is that the lasagne was a bit dry for our taste. I think this is purely a personal preference (we prefer a saucy lasagne) but the flavour was still fantastic.
