Port Side

1. I ordered the Duke breakfast sandwich the first time I came here, and I’ve never ordered everything else. Pulled pork, ultra-fluffy souffled egg, sweet pickles, arugula…there are so many bright flavors that blend together so well. I’m getting hungry writing this

2. Bacon egg and (American) cheese
   – $9 pre tax/tip
   – Wonderfully fluffy egg, strong crispy bacon (not thick cut)
   – House hot sauce is good (can get to go) but I liked the cart driver hot sauce I bought from down the road on it better
   – Bread got noticeably steamed on 2 min walk home but was not soggy (this is a good thing)
   – American cheese is my preferred, extra for cheddar (and separate menu item for egg/cheddar/bacon that would be $11)
   – For me, this was an great first stop on breakfast sandwich tour: overall 8/10 would happily make this my go-to spot esp if they had sausage

3. Cannot praise this lovely place enough. One of the best coffee shops in the city, while also consistently turning out the best breakfast food. Best avocado toast I’ve ever had. Best breakfast sandwich. They never miss!

4. Today was my first time at Port Side. It will not be the last. I had the special, “The Duke” breakfast sandwich. Egg with pulled pork, cheese and arugula. It took three napkins to eat the sandwich. Which is a hit for me. Loved the sandwich. The joint and staff are inviting and they treated me like a customer.
   If you are interested in a breakfast sandwich, put this place on your list to go to.
