Portland

1. My favorite of all time. This space provides a very chill, beautiful, and comfy place to work and enjoy delicious coffee and food. My two (almost) daily musts: the flat white and the orange vegan poppy seed cake. Also, the toasted banana bread (with a little bit of butter) is amazing. I strongly recommend this place. 🤍

2. Reluctant to write a positive review because I’d rather it stayed a hidden gem. Delicious coffee and the food is tremendous. Friendly service and I really like the playlists I’ve heard being played here. It should always be like this but the bathroom is clean and spacious.

3. Firstly I have to preface my review by saying the tea and cake both my partner and myself had was very good and would have normally scored a 5 🌟 . However the general grumpy attitude of the man behind the counter was enough for my classification to be only 2⭐️.
   Will not return because of staff.

4. Portland is yet another fine Kemptown treasure. Great coffee, a relaxed atmosphere & a perfect venue to catch up with friends, work on your laptop, or simply watch the world go by.

5. I’ve been a regular at this cafe for quite a while, and while everyone on the staff is incredibly friendly, there’s a special touch that comes on Saturdays when the lady who’s always impeccably dressed in vintage attire. Her genuine smile creates a welcoming atmosphere, making every visit a joy. Her warm presence and welcoming add a unique charm to the place. It’s a bit of a weekend treat, making Saturdays at the cafe extra special.
   Highly recommend for both the exceptional brew and the inviting ambiance🌻
