A very pleasant overnight stay. I used to try to support local businesses when staying in Aberystwyth, but after one too many disappointments I gave the Premier Inn a try and I was glad I did. The seafront location is terrific – once you solve the puzzle of getting to the front door from inside – and the room was very clean and comfortable. Parking isn’t great and cost extra, and unfortunately the windows don’t open. Overall though, it was a great place to stay and definitely recommended.
A Premier Inn squeezed into a traditional seafront hotel. Some rooms offer a great sea view – others overlook the car park, I don’t there’s a way of saying which you prefer. We had one sea view room and one car park view room, the later was very warm and no amount of air conditioning changed this. The rooms are a good size with some rooms offering a bath and others a shower cubicle. All rooms include a TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
The restaurant is quite small and at busy times it’s essential to book breakfast. The restaurant wasn’t open in the evening when we were there.
The car park is £7 a night and was full when we stayed – the nearby public car park is slightly cheaper and offers electric car charging.
Nice hotel, conveniently located opposite the beach. The staff were amazing, very helpful, polite and professional. Special mention to the girl on reception, she was very welcoming.
Only small criticism is that the car park gets full in the evening so if you’re out late then you’ll need to park on the street but you’ll need to move your car in the morning prior to enforcement of parking restrictions.
Premier rooms good but costly for what you get. Clean. ”Feature lighting” I’ll thought out and impractical ( do the design team test out their ideas – decent lighting for shaving only if you stood a yard away from mirror…) Small car park managed by a private company and seemed that there was not enough space for all guests.
Great 2 night stay, brilliant location with all the main sights in easy reach on foot. Reception on the lower ground floor with additional entrance / exit using key card to the sea front on the upper ground floor was handy. We had a second floor room overlooking the car park but we slept well. AC worked fine and although it was hot whilst we were there, the room wasn’t too hot all weekend. Comfortable bed and everything very clean and up together. Thank you to staff including the breakfast chefs (cooking us veggie sausages and bacon), Chris the duty manager and reception staff for a warm welcome. We wouldn’t hesitate to rebook.
