Rhydycar Harvester

1. I thought we’d give the harvester one last chance as it has been our favourite go to for years. Partners steak had to be sent back twice as the chef couldn’t cook a medium steak! It first came well done. Sent back, came back to us mooing. My chicken breast (BBQ CHICKEN STACK) was so hard and dry. Chips were cold. The menu has been changed and it’s not good. There didn’t seem to be much at all for vegetarians. I ordered garlic bread to go with my meal, and well. . . I couldn’t believe what I was served 🤣 PITTA BREADS, cut in half, with melted cheese! Not even any garlic! I’ll add the picture of it here, they were put in a microwave to melt the cheese on top. I’ll never come back until they’ve sorted themselves out.

2. Visited tonight after some shopping.
   Booked a table online just before arriving so wasn’t surprised or bothered about having to wait for the table to be ready, however, it did take almost 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us when we arrived.
   Salad bar was sparse. Had to ask for butter, little salad choice, and the croutons, crispy onions etc were all empty.
   Had an issue with the lo not liking the cheese sauce on her burger, and whilst they were happy to change it, I had to find someone to take it back to the kitchen as no-one had come to ask if our meals were OK.
   The best part of the meal was probably the cherry Pepsi, sadly. Even with a voucher, it wasn’t worth the money.

3. Went into the restaurant today about 16:15 was ignored when staying waiting for a table for at least 15 minutes.
   Then when a staff member came over asked if we booked we said no and was told online booking only we are not taking walk ins was very rude didn’t apologise for keeping us waiting and didn’t apologise for looking and ignoring us .
   Half of the restaurant was empty we then went to the car and booked online for 16:40pm which again is stupid to be honest .
   The lady came over to take our order just as we sat down lol we had not even looked at the menu yet.
   When we did order it took them 15 minutes to tell us beef burgers were sold out but we could see burgers still being cooked.
   Now the food was burnt sent it back twice. Mash potatoes was shocking. The staff tried to serve me the same burnt chicken burger. They had the nerve to ask what was wrong . I think the pictures will show what is obviously wrong. The service was very slow very poor and would not recommend going there .
   No apology about the food and no discount given when questioned about a £52.00 bill.
   My partner myself and my 2 children left most of the burnt food because it was disgusting.
   Also whilst sitting waiting for our food which came out past 5:45pm bearing in mind we had been there since 16:20pm the guy was letting walk ins where as we were told we had to book so we were sent out to book lol. This place is a joke. Poor management planning and very rude young staff who clearly do not want to be there .

4. Great experience with friendly team and lovely food. Had the Bird, Surf & Turf. Steak was cooked perfectly and the portion was definitely filling and tasty. Treated to table service with Macy who made us feel very welcome and looked after us. Would definitely return and recommend

5. We visited this restaurant for 2 breakfasts. My wife & I both had the Classic Breakfast. The food was okay BUT the attention to detail was very poor. The guy who brought the food over, didn’t know which meal was which (they did differ). There were no tomatoes on either plate & we asked for them. One meal was with mushrooms but they were not supplied etc etc. Service was a little slow too. On the plus side it’s unlimited filter good, which is a good thing. We wouldn’t be rushing back.
