  1. I recently visited Salt n pepper Merthyr Tydfil and was thoroughly impressed with my dining experience. As a fan of South Indian cuisine, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed meal.
The menu offered a variety of authentic Kerala dishes. Each dish was cooked to perfection, retaining the traditional flavors of South India. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They were more than happy to explain the dishes and make recommendations based on our preferences. The service was prompt, and the food arrived hot and fresh.

  3. Service was good but a bit disjointed. Food was ok with a lot of fushed from southern India so not your typical curry fayre. Disappointing dairy free options see photo. Fried or toasted chicken, beef or pork with rice bread. Good prices.

  4. I found this hidden gem recently in my visit to merthyr tydfil and this is hands down the best authenthic kerala cuisine you can get.. I have been visiting regularly since then. If you need more than the boring tikka masala, buns this is the place to be. The food is authentic to the ones served back in kerala, india.
Must try is Appam ( rice pancake), kerala parotta, puttu (steamed rice flour with coconut), pazham pushing ( plantain fritters ) and their kerala chicken biryani is out of this world. The dishes are made to order so wait is around 20 mins and it is really worth it . A must try and easy on ur wallet. You can enjoy sipping on your drinks.

Good place to arrange small functions like Birthday partys as they got enough place to accomodate small to medium groups.
Snooker table available to spend the time after ordering your food.
It will take upto 30mins to get your food ready because they are preparing it freshly after you order it.
You can pre order your food by contacting the restaurant over phone.
