1. I never understood the hype over grilled cheese sandwiches. After scratch, now I get not only the hype but I’ve met the heart and soul of grilled cheese sandwiches. We had a Reuben and it was amazing as well.

   The place could be nicer but again when the food it’s so good, aesthetics don’t matter.

2. Jaw dropping, mouth watering food. I got the regular biscuits and gravy. Service was great and responsive. For was unique, savory, fresh and hot. The fresh food was worth a small wait. The indoor dining space is limited. I’d take it to go if I had to it’s so good.

3. Real gem of a place with a varied menu of excellent comfort food. We went for brunch and had we been staying in the area we’d have come back the next day. Great service, great food, and a pretty awesome alt rock playlist

4. Where to begin? The menu is so creative and full of options that I had to walk out of the restaurant to get a photo of just one of them. The service is friendly and welcoming. The food, let’s just say, “spud nuggets” will become part of your vocabulary. Yummy!!!

5. Went here for breakfast/brunch on a Saturday morning with a group of 5. Table spacing is tight inside but they pulled us over a chair and everyone felt comfortable. The vibe is casual, food was great, and I appreciated them having a restroom to use upon asking. We all ordered different food items, and it seemed like a clean plate club. My own breakfast burger was delicious. VERY reasonable pricing for Newport.
