  1. Tried to come for lunch but it was so popular we couldn’t get a seat so booked online for dinner which was a really easy system. Really beautiful, well thought out decor and awesome vibes. We loved the look of the menu online so already knew what we were going to have and went for the mussels main and the seafood tagliatelle. Pasta was really good, lovely sauce and a decent portion, the mussels came with toast and chips but the chips weirdly didn’t taste of anything, which was strange. Big portion of mussels which was alright but the sauce was pretty much just cream and lacked flavour. Very reasonable price for spirits but a pint of neck oil was £7 which was a shock when we got the bill. Overall a really lovely restaurant and food, would eat here again.

  2. Whoever owns this place is doing everything right. Every member of staff were great, our groups of 4 adults and 3 dogs were made very welcome. Beers were good, lots of choices and the the food is excellent. Highly recommended

  3. Parked up here and went on a 3 hour walk and was so glad to be able to refuel here with my dog. I had scallops to start and a fresh dressed crab salad to follow and was very impressed. Everything was perfectly cooked, the service was extremely fast, and I got so many chips with my main that my dog was a happy boy having my leftovers. I then spoiled myself to an ice cream on the way out too; delicious all round!

  4. Great buzz, welcomed in although busy. We were told probably be a 45 min wait for food but have a drink and take a seat anyway. We were served fairly rapidly despite the warning. I was reacquainted with a childhood fave of Welsh rarebit. Very tasty! A haven for dogs too, they have their own bonio crate! Brilliant decor too, plenty to catch your eye.

  5. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. All staff are friendly & helpful. We had a mixture of dishes and all were delicious. Cannot fault any of the food. 10 star food and service. Would always recommend and somewhere to see different doggies too. That makes this stay a lot better for us, than anywhere else.

Neil and the team work very hard, it was a great first time experience. We will be coming again, even if it’s just for a drive out. 108 miles was worth the drive for this food.
