We got the fixed course menu at the counter. Intimate dining experience with three couples total. The value for the food was good but I think the pacing/portioning needed work. Flavors were interesting but erred on the blander side. Service was okay, the counter didn’t get a lot of attention from the waitress and it took a long time to flag someone down.
Love this place! Been 5 times In the last year and will keep the trend going . The owner is a really good guy. The staff is also super nice and friendly too!
Food is always great. Awesome Comfort food home style cooking.
They also have a 5 course tasting menu at the chefs counter that changes every few month. It overlooks the kitchen and is funt to watch all the prep taking place. I would highly recommend this place to everyone 5/5
Excellent service and atmosphere. The vibes were great, the food was not. We ordered “cirspy prok ribs” as starter. It was very chewy, and didn’t taste fresh, sauce was odd.
While the hanger steak meat was decent, it arrived a bit cold. nothing else on the plate was. The potatoes were very bland didn’t taste fresh either.
Maybe our expectations were too high.
This was a great dining experience. The drinks were very nice and had witty names. The staff here were very friendly and professional. The food was pretty good. There is no parking just paid street side parking. We ordered a lot of food so we could have used a bigger table. But overall a good experience. I am looking forward to going back again soon.
Came here for my husband’s bday, this is a cool place! For the mains – really impressive preparation for their ham-wrapped scallops, I appreciate the plentiful sauce and sweet corn risotto – a LOT more substance than most restaurants give for scallop. The Campanelle Bolognese is solid, though it had more breadcrumb than I personally prefer for pasta. Fritto misto was well done and crispy! Drinks were fun, I liked the Carpe Dew’m the best since I’m a big fan of honeydew. Overall wonderful experience – and very friendly waitstaff. For me, the flavors across dishes weren’t as unique as I had hoped from all the reviews, which is the only reason this isn’t a 5 for me.
