Showroom Café Bar

1. This is one of my top picks for co-working spaces if you don’t mind a bit of background noise and some busy periods. They do a reasonably priced unlimited drinks deal and do a fantastic cooked breakfast. Staff were so helpful and friendly, and clued up about allergies. Can’t fault it.

2. Booked a table well in advance but they forgot to reserve it. Service very slow. Food was awful. The so called steak was chunks of scrag end. It was so tough and fatty that I nearly choked on it, genuinely, and it was covered in salt too. Dreadful. Avoid.

3. Excellent Brunch at the Showroom Cafe. Always very lively in here and good food too. Great place to eat before (or after) a film.

4. The Showroom Cafe is a fun place to be when it is quiet. Service is friendly but very slow mainly as they are often understaffed. The food is not great. Only recently I attended a morning event there and they gave us frozen pastires – mine had ice in it. Where in the world can you not get fresh items from a bakery in the morning?

5. I hadn’t been here for over a decade. The last time I visited, the food was quite posh and I didn’t enjoy it. This time it was truly excellent, the whole menu is soul food and I am here for it. Coffee, atmosphere, bathrooms, service… All was great. I will be back!
