  1. Food is amazing and such good value for money! I ordered 3 mains and dessert but I wanted to try EVERYTHING. For £18 I was absolutely stuffed. I’ve never tried a cheese vada pav before and it was amazing. The bhaji were perfectly cooked and the gajar halva was perfect. Super happy to see Thums Up on the drinks menu. Only letdowns was the service was a bit slow given that it was quite quiet (but worth the wait I can assure you) and there was no chai left. Will definitely be back on my next trip to Reading. Thank you to Adlin for the great service!

  2. Has good Indian chat varieties,
Nice dine in place, delivery available via many apps.
Dining in has been best, Vada pav and samosa (schezwan and butter) are favourites and has always been good on deliveries too.Tea is very nice.
    Onion bhajiye was very good.
Bhel puri was not so great.not a great fan of Misal too.Mostly everything is good.
Can keep revisiting and re ordering.
Ordering via 3rd party app is bit expensive compared to dining in. Available via Justeat/ubereats/deliveroo , mostly SKVP deliveries are quicker mostly delivered on time.
SKVP app order and pick up is best option if picking up directly and is value for money.

  3. Poor quality food – ordered a few items via their website to collect and a majority of them were poor quality and seemed to have been cooked hours ago or burnt. Pokora seemed like they were cooked and just left then reheated or we were given the bad ones and the dabelis were burnt and poor quality. Couldn’t even eat them past 1-2 bites. Had to throw them away. Called to complain and was told they will give me replacement if I ordered an it m via their website, which I explained I didn’t need or want to do. Then they said come and get a replacement but as this point I’d made other arrangements for food as we had guests for dinner. Asked for a refund and told they can’t do that. The person who spoke to me was insistent that I place an order for an item via their website and then he will give me a replacement, but explained I didn’t need it and nor did I want to spend more money with them, asked for a credit note or refund again but said they couldn’t do that. Overall poor quality food and I won’t order from here again.

  4. If you want to taste some authentic indian breakfast or some traditional street food, this is the place. Ordered a few different items and they were all good.
Saloni, who served us, served with a great smile and was really friendly. The atmosphere is desi as well.
