Shrimp Shack Camden

1. Loved it, missus and I went for lunch. Everything from the service to the flavour of the food was amazing. Would not fault it. Martina gave us the best customer service. She was warm, welcoming and friendly, happy to help with options and describing some of the dishes. We chose the Shrimp Boil to share. Absolutely awesome flavours.

2. Amazing food our first ever seafood boil and we were not disappointed one bit !! The prices seem wild but they are so worth it. Food portion was massive “ss boil for two” and such tasty flavours within the seafood ! Would recommend to anyone willing to try a seafood boils or looking for a good spot. Service was lovely the chap that looked after us reassured us about food times and the expectations of their seafood. Very full and very much an enjoyable experience

3. We are avid seafood boil goers and wanted to try the Shrimp Shack. We had high expectations and wanted to see if this would be our new spot.

   Menu looked good and we went for the seafood boil for 2, Mac and cheese and the firecracker chicken. On arrival the food did look good. However, aspects of the dish was cold such as the king crab the prawns and the egg. It felt like the food was already prepared and they just placed the hot sauce on top. The Mac and cheese wasn’t backed but that was our preference but the taste was good
   .
   Our firecracker chicken didn’t arrive and we had to ask twice. By the time it came we were over it. Our server was excellent and the vibe he gave was very friendly. Out of our 2 person party, only one of us would come back.

   Good value for money, however not for quality.

4. Party of 15 –
   Food amazing everything came out nice hot fresh.
   Starters really really nice I recommend the firecracker shrimp with the spicy mayo. And loaded fries.
   Platter for mains all the dips are fantastic my favourite would be the house and garlic butter.
   Apple crumble with custard to finish it off couldn’t complain.

5. I really did think that this place was going to be really nice as the reviews are really good. I found that the chips were not cooked very well, like not fresh. It would have been great if they came out piping hot and crispy instead of soggy. The rice was also quite bland despite the bright and vibrant colour.

   The starters were not fresh, just as good as any frozen section breaded chicken with a spicy mayo. I would say don’t waste your money.

   Shrimp boil
   I loved though how they cut in the middle of the shell of the prawns. The prawns were an alright quality, I’ve definitely had better.
   The sauce though was lovely, well seasoned and balanced. I think the sweet corn was the best bit for me.

   The service was great!
