Sicilian NQ – Restaurant and Bar

1. We recently dined at this Italian restaurant, and while the experience was pleasant, the food was a bit underwhelming. We tried the truffle pasta, which unfortunately didn’t live up to expectations, lacking the rich, earthy flavor we’ve enjoyed at other Italian spots. The pesto also missed the mark, lacking that fresh, vibrant taste we associate with classic Italian pesto.

   That said, their cappuccino was a standout and truly impressive, perfectly creamy and flavorful. It was a great way to end the meal on a positive note. While the ambiance and service were nice, the food could use a bit more authenticity to make it truly memorable.

2. We went there yesterday for my friend’s birthday. We both had a 3 course meal, and we were impressed by the taste and the quality of the food. Everyone was really polite and smiley. I’m definitely going back there!

3. Lovely quaint place. If you make a reservation you’d get a nice table. We walked in , we sat at the bar which was lovely too. The service was good. We had the bruschetta, Tagliatelle portabello and Pasta with ricotta ( forgot the name in the menu) . The food was good and the portion was filling.

4. Very fast paced when there’s people in there. Staff seemed annoyed that we didn’t want dessert and then the bill was brought over instantly and we were told we had to leave soon for another table. We hadn’t even been in there for 60 minutes at this point and had starters, mains and drinks. Food was good overall, but have had better pasta elsewhere. Would love to try a dessert soon.

5. The food was so delicious and we got a perfect wine pairing! Amazing service as well!! They also gave us free desert, after we talked to the chef outside by a small cigarette break… he wanted to greet us to something nice 🙂 he also made one vegan option for my friend!
