1. From the outside it is not appealing, but inside the restaurant is lovely.

   Visiting family in Sunderland and arrangements for 14 for Sunday lunch. A cheeky Aperol spritz to start.

   The service was good, but it was very busy with a good atmosphere. The decor is lovely in the restaurant and the staff are friendly. I thought I’d try the Chicken picante – okay, think I should have gone for Sunday lunch as served with seasonal veg. The Chicken Picante would have been better with Mediterranean veg…
   Sunday lunch is probably best on Sundays. A little disappointed but would try again in the week.

2. Food was lovely and I’d definitely come here again. Got the full rack of ribs and chocolate fudge cake for dessert, everything was very reasonably priced. The inside is very well presented and lovely and clean. My only down point would be the service, the place was pretty much empty when we came for dinner and yet service was very slow, asking us for drinks and to order etc took a long time. Once our order was taken though, food came out in a timely fashion so I won’t complain too much.

3. Visited for my birthday with large family group Sunday tea time – I’m gluten free and usually anxious about ordering however the waitress was so friendly & knowledgeable I felt comfortable. I had pork belly to start followed by Tuscan chicken and sticky toffee pudding – all gorgeous, fresh and reasonably priced.

   Little hidden gem in sunderland and can’t wait to be back to visit

4. Can’t fault the place and the service offered by Gemma is amazing. My daughter has a milk allergy and she is always so helpful when it comes to allergy advice and making sure she is catered for safely. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her and she always makes sure our family celebrations are enjoyable.

5. Great hidden gem! Beautifully light and thin pizza here, which you’d expect from that beast of a pizza oven. Will be back to try the pasta!
