Smoke & Rye

1. We were driving south on the M6 looking for a place that would be serving dinner on a rainy Sunday night and found this place. Staff was super accommodating and found us a table (not our usual experience without booking ahead) and as two Americans, we enjoyed reading the menu. We ordered two burgers (Stetson and whatever the veggie one is called, subbed regular smoked cheese) and both were great. Lily was our server and she was super! Parking was easy – In car park just around the corner, quick walk out the back along the canal to the restaurant.

2. me and my boyfriend visited smoke and rye today. Was a cracking atmosphere with lovely staff. Especially Madie who was lovely and attentive to us ! My boyfriend had the pig pen. Which was beautifully cooked and so tasty . I had the Nashville hot chicken and waffle. The chicken was very good but wasn’t a fan of the waffle really itself ! Which let the meal down a little . But overall nice visit 🙂

3. The food was absolutely amazing! We had wings, beef ribs and a burger and honestly it was *chefs kiss*. It was also my husband’s birthday and they did a lovely birthday dessert for us. Would highly recommend

4. Such a lovely little place. Honestly the food was amazing. Portion sizes are very good as to be expected with a American style restaurant. Great atmosphere and vibes. Service was equally as good. Will definitely be visiting again! 😁

5. All I can say is WOWOWOW. Food was outrageously incredible. Best ribs I’ve ever had (and I’m American). They handled a party of 30 incredibly, top service. The portions were true US-size. Food was so authentically amazing. USA beers on tap that they get locally brewed just for them. They have a customer for life. Will be coming back ASAP. Best food in Staffordshire and I say this with ease.
