  1. Two separate visits:
    Double cheeseburger add haggis patty
The bread was very average, thin patties were alright, there’s some bite. But overall quite dry

Breakfast baguette’s bread was alright, although it’s not a baguette at all. It’s got some crisp near the edges. The link sausages were mealy, black pudding doesn’t taste like much either. It’s also quite dry if you get it without sauce, cos there’s no veggies

  2. I sat in and ordered a Turkey, Brie & Cranberry sandwich from Snax Cafe and it was absolutely delicious. They forgot to put the turkey in so it ended up being just Brie & Cranberry but it was very enjoyable. Nice vibe. Would recommend

  3. I have passed this place many times and I have never gone in but I was very impressed.

The food was high quality, but simple, which is what I want from a breakfast spot. The prices were ridiculously reasonable, and there were many options for the size of your breakfast; I came with my boyfriend and got the all day veggie, which was great for brunch for me, and he got the ‘biggest veggie’ at a marginally higher price and was more suitable to his needs. The hash browns were crispy and the eggs were perfectly done. My boyfriend is Scottish and he rated the veggie sausages, the haggis and the tattie scones!

The staff were really nice while still being efficient. We came on a sunday morning and managed to get a lovely spot by the window, which despite being busy, still felt like it was private and we were able to enjoy our food.

The only complaint would perhaps be that I wish there was the option to get filter coffee as only americanos feels slightly fussy and the coffee could be a bit better. Such a minor note though!

    Go here!!!

  4. We found this by reading good reviews. And noted that it was reasonably priced and not expensive. I got the baguette with bacon, egg, and sausage, my wife got the Big Breakfast, and we shared a pot of tea for two. The service was excellent and the food was marvelously delicious. The cozy environment was understandably busy but certainly not chaotic. Highly recommend breakfast here.

  5. Great spot for a cheap breakfast or lunch. Great value, no frills but decent food. Always busy but easily to get a table and friendly staff. Hash brown bites were 👌🏻
