1. Such a cute spot for breakfast! Waitstaff like the host and Andrea were super friendly and attentive. My husband and I ended up going there twice in our short trip! Their Turkish Eggs were delicious and unique, and the Scottish Fry was a great intro to a Scottish breakfast. Loved their cappuccinos! The atmosphere was clean, cute and quirky. They have some seats facing the street with a great view.

2. Wife and I had a late lunch at the restaurant on a Friday. The restaurant was busy. The atmosphere was nice and we were promptly seated upstairs. We both ordered the Mama Club sandwich. I also had a cappuccino. The cappuccino brought to me was excellent. After about 30 minutes we noticed some other customers that were seated 10 or 15 minutes after us were eating. When the waitress came by I asked if she could please check on our order as others after us were eating. I was advised it was busy and a delay would be due to what we ordered. When our sandwiches were delivered and upon eating them we believe the bacon was undercooked and it was cold. Upon discussing this with the waitress she stated it was how the bacon was prepared and it was cold due to the other items. The waitress did offer to take the sandwich and crisp the bacon. At that point we had already removed the bacon and eaten about 1/2 the sandwich. It was an unsatisfactory lunch that took an hour and 15 minutes. I suggest if you order something with bacon you request they “crisp” it.

3. Best brunch and a very yum breakfast I had here, they are fabulous…. The people there are very cordial while the ambiance was superb too. A very busy restaurant. Prior booking is better if you are in a hurry. There highlander brunch is especially recommended to taste best smoked salmon. Highly recommend 🤩

4. Nothing but a positive experience at Society. Miryam was so lovely and accommodating! My friend and I got the Granola Bowl and Turkish Eggs- both a generous serving and so so good! Also do a VERY good oat flat white. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Edinburgh.

5. We came twice and ordered the same thing both times, the food was delicious and arrived very fast, the staff were extremely nice, the atmosphere is very cozy and bright. 100% recommend it! The coffee is also very nice & smooth, compared to some other cafes in Edinburgh…
