Expensive, unwelcoming and no regard for customer experience. No crockery for the sit in service, just single use, disposable cups, no plates just paper bags, and the comfy chairs were all piled up and cordoned off behind a barricade of other chairs lest customers feel welcome. This was early Friday evening, plenty of potential customers around, so failing to offer a decent sit in experience made what we had hoped to be a pleasant pause for a cuppa and a bite to eat was made into nothing more than a refuelling stop. Seriously, why do this when your offer to customers isn’t just the coffee, it’s the coffee shop experience? If you have forgotten this, you have forgotten what tme point of your business is. Very poor experience.
I had came on the open day everything was served well, staff were all positive
I just had my best ever coffee from here and I wanted to thank you for it. I’ve been coming here a bit recently since its outside my work and i just started drinking coffee recently. But the service today was excellent very quick and the lady was very pleasant. The lady who made my coffee and served it was also incredible, that was factually the best coffee I’ve ever had thank you to the team. Everytime I come my order is correct and the service is great.
This was my worst experience at Starbucks ever. The drink had no taste and was like sugary water. There was barely any coffee flavor, and the milk overpowered the coffee, making it incredibly unpalatable. To make matters worse, the staff’s attitude was poor. After making the drink, they spilled it over the outside of the cup and handed it to me without even wiping it clean. This is completely unacceptable.
I ordered 2 coffees which were served in paper cups. When I said they were to drink in I was told’You need to say that when your order, you’ve been charged 5p for takeaway cups’ I then suggested that should be made clear at the counter and I was very aggressively told, ‘its up there on the board’
I found the whole encounter shocking in the rude aggressive tone of the member of staff and it is only because we have had previous positive experiences with Starbucks that I would even consider using again. The staff in this outlet need some immediate training on customer service.
