A disastrous experience. We came here for breakfast, trusting in the well-known name, and were left disappointed. Among other things, we ordered a cinnamon roll, which was hard, cold, and stale. We asked if they could heat it up a bit, just to soften it, and they refused without much explanation. So, we started eating it as it was, but after the first bite, it was really inedible. We asked if they could replace it with another pastry, and again, they refused without much explanation. We spent almost £20 on breakfast, and they didn’t consider replacing a hard and stale product that costs less than £3. I do not recommend going to this place.
As I have a disability I have to use a walking stick. My hot drink was brought over to my table to save me standing in a queue. Very considerate…as they were so busy at the time. Really appreciated it.
I have take a moment to come on to review the kindness and friendliness of the staff at this location. Despite coming at a very busy time of day I was served quickly and with a friendly manner. I was clumsy enough to spill my drink on a table, I went to ask for some tissue to clean this with. I was not permitted to clean it as the staff insisted on doing this for me, and not only that, provided me with a new drink at no extra cost- I had not expected this, it was entirely my own error! I would like to offer particular thanks to Georgia who was incredibly kind despite me creating this extra work!
I go every morning, but after today …
I have a very high lactose intolerance and I made it clear, but even ordering the coffee with COCONUT milk tastes totally like semi-skimmed milk. I hope this serious thing is resolved. Also sometimes the staff is friendly but there are others who are very unfriendly to work in as costumer service.

Frequenting this particular branch, I have yet to have a bad experience.
The size of the store is deceiving, there being another area through the back to sit down.
The front of the store is immaculate and modern looking, with comfortable seats and tables.
The staff are always really pleasant and helpful; definitely a credit to the company. The speed of service is really great as well, better than most establishments.
The building itself is situated at the entrance to the new St James’ Quarter, so a great place to visit before, during, or after your shopping.
