Starbucks Coffee

1. I don’t expect much from the massive chains except for consistency, cleanliness, and meeting basic regulations. The disabled toilet was out of order. I can’t help but wonder if the coffee machine was out of order would it take as long to be repaired? or is it that disabled access is not a big enough money spinner for you to care?

2. Went to sit down inside.got sandwich and coffee my sandwich was burnt on cheese side scan my costa app didn’t know I had free drink she didn’t ask me. Waited for them to bring my tray over as disabled which I had to wait until the que went down. I noticed later when I looked at my costa app to see how many I had left to get my free drink to find out it was the day I went in I could have had free drink and now have missed it cause expired same day I was there 🙃

3. I am rarely compelled to write reviews online, but I have been to this Starbucks a handful of times, and have repeatedly had to walk out after being completely ignored at the til for up to five minutes. It seems the staff prioritises making drink orders that have come via delivery apps before serving customers in store. This is understandable (if a strange way to do business) but the lack of acknowledgement or even a simple hello to a queue of customers standing there is unlike anything I’ve seen. It’s not the staff’s fault if they are understaffed — which they clearly are — but you’d think there would a modicum of, well, customer service to the customers actually standing there in line.

4. A big thank you to the ladies serving on the Morning of Thursday 19th September who were kind enough to help me order an Uber when I unexpectedly needed to arrange transport to my Sons Wedding. They ordered the transport for me, and wrote down the details of the car and registration number. The car was there in a couple of minutes and made a really stressful time much easier. Thank you ladies for your help, I got to the venue in good time and the wedding was fabulous!

5. Lovely place to get a coffee and sit with my baby, never feel uncomfortable being there by myself or breastfeeding my baby. Great coffee and cake and a lovely building, the painting on the ceiling is incredible.
   I must say Donna is an absolute credit to this branch. She works so hard and is really attentive and helpful, she is a great example of amazing customer service and she really deserves to go far. You know it’ll be a good and hassle free visit when she’s in. I hope she’s the one who is training everyone else, and I hope she’s in charge/will be soon. Everyone needs to be a bit more Donna.
