Taste of Ethiopia Restaurant & Coffee Shop

1. I love finding places where there’s not a single thing I would change, and this is one of those. The food was delicious and Gaby took great care of us! She explained dishes if we had questions and warned us about the dish I choose since it’s very sour. The atmosphere is refreshing and well designed. If you don’t like the incense or smell from the spices there’s plenty of outdoor seating as well. The coffee shop looks like a great place for team meetings. The coffee was delicious and strong, and the beer was light and herbal with a slight sweetness. Honestly would love to come here regularly. If you love Ethiopian dishes, this place is a must. We ordered the special kitfor cooked rare (on sides) and fir fir (in middle).

2. Delicious. And the atmosphere is very nice, stylish – Ethiopia meets mid century fusion.
   Back to the food. This place is very gluten-free friendly. There are some traditional tables mixed in with Western flair, & a coffee room. The staff is super nice and the food matches the quality of my favorite Ethiopian restaurant in Denver. (Which I did not think could be compared to. And I have eaten Ethiopian in Vegas/large Ethiopian population, and this is also comparable.)

   The food was awesome. I don’t even like lentils and the lentils are amazing. So I guess I could say I only like Ethiopian lentil dishes. They’re amazing here.

   Can’t wait to come here again. I think this will be fun with a group.

3. The atmosphere was delightful and service by Israel was perfect we wanted to meet the owner like we did in Denver maybe next time her restaurant was the best the food was fresh and the meat wasn’t grisly and the serving size was ample and amazing, that coffee service was great as well. I want to bring my family there when my son visits from Germany! The Sharkey family will make this restaurant one of there favorites!

4. Delicious and tasty food. I ordered beef Tibs with rice. The beef was so tender and flavorful. My hubby ordered the veggie platter and he said everything had so much flavor! The restaurant is gorgeous! The coffee and dessert place was perfect to top of our lunch.

5. Great restaurant, great food, great service! This a place to ‘dine’, it’s not fast food. Everything is fresh and it takes time to make so expect 10-20 min wait for the meats, but it is worth it. The lamb and beef are amazing, the waiters are VERY friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is very elegant. In short this restaurant is very well put together and a great place for date night. I don’t know what i expected to be on the menu, but everything on the menu is or looks delicious. The coffee bar looks amazing. The have both mild and a variety of spicy dishes so everyone is going to be happy. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back.
