Tesco Cafe

1. The QR code on the table doesn’t work! You’re not going to get any feedback 😆 when I scanned, it said the code isn’t supported. There was no special instruction to scan in a Tesco app so I assume scanning with phone camera should work.
   Food was nice, annoying that you don’t do any replacements though. Unfair as you just have to lose out. Had a breakfast but not allowed to switch beans for anything else. Coffee was great, veggie breakfast was on the smaller side but tasty.

2. Food was OK. Nice staff and you can rest before or after shopping

3. As someone who travels a lot and often eats in various supermarket cafes this has to be the worst experience I’ve had.

   I ordered breakfast for 1. It took an hour to arrive (see pics for time on receipt and shot of watch when food arrived). I had no warning that it was going to take so long to prepare one meal. Had I been advised of an hours delay I would not have ordered.

   When the food did arrive the eggs were overcooked. The bacon was so hard that I literally could not cut through it with the cutlery provided. A steak knife would likely have struggled. The ‘toast’ was basically bread that had been threatened with heat.

   Really a very disappointing experience and certainly will not bother eating here again.

4. Good selection of food and drinks, friendly staff, tables not 100% clean but this might be just at peak times when we visited. They’ve got a breakfast menu which includes a Full English as well as a Kids menu.

5. Kristel is a good manager, luke is a good chef, alex is good table service. Wholesome 😤
