  1. The past twice we visited the cafe at 11 45am the baked potatoes and fresh orange were out of stock.the first time it happened you think ok. One of those things. The second time uou think whats going on. Which is hard to understand since the cafe is in a supermarket. We chose poached eggs on toast instead and had to return them as they were hard. The second time one egg was half cooked and the egg white was runny. I couldn’t eat a partially raw egg. I left it. My husbands sausage sandwich was served in a little bun instead of a bap. These two visits were a week apart so plenty of time to stock up. Will have our breakfast at home. Lost two regular customers.

  2. New CREAMS@ CAFE TESCO GATESHEAD
My First Time trying Creams desserts, We Ordered Through Just Eat, delivered to the Door. I’ve used the Tesco Café in Gateshead, many Times Fantastic Staff & a really lovely Manager always Happy. She Recommended Creams so we gave it a Try & we were Not Disappointed. I’ve Never had desserts as good as this in my Life absolutely amazing. If You have a Sweet Tooth Creams is a Must. We Ordered Strawberry & choc Waffle, Royal Crepe, Large scoop Shake & Ice cream. It was Really Indulgent, Such a Treat & a Meal on its own. Waffles & Crepe were so fresh & Ice cream still frozen when it arrived. We will defiantly be ordering again 🙂

  3. The new “self ordering” screens are awful, along with Tesco’s decision to remove Cash from their cafe. On approaching the counter to order with cash, I was told “use the screen, I can show you how” does Tesco think that would be an appropriate response to an elderly customer who intended to pay with cash? I feel for them.

Tesco ought to remove this awful system from it’s place, as it is causing nothing but a deterrent for potential custom.

  4. On a radiant morning, my paramour and I embarked upon a gastronomic expedition to none other than the hallowed halls of a Tesco Cafe. Aware of her proclivity for admiration—owing, of course, to her association with myself—I remained utterly unprepared for the torrent of elation that seized her upon encountering the self-ordering marvels. Her exuberance bordered on the ecstatic, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears of joy.

Enthralled by the cornucopia of culinary delights displayed upon the screens, we languidly perused the resplendent array of epicurean offerings, each more tantalizing than the last. After much deliberation, we settled upon our repast, ensconcing ourselves in plush comfort as we eagerly awaited the arrival of our chosen dishes.

The libations made their debut first, though I must confess my flat white bore an unmistakable note of earthiness—a trifling matter, to be sure, and one unworthy of remonstrance. Presently, our beautiful order materialized before us, a tableau of gustatory splendor.

While I found myself pleasantly surprised by the hash browns—a humble dish elevated to unforeseen heights of gustatory excellence—my beloved was positively enraptured by her selection, the Shakshuka & Chorizo (TM). Words fail me in capturing the ineffable joy that suffused her countenance; suffice it to say, never have I borne witness to a spectacle so radiant with sheer delight.

In the wake of the meal, she was positively aglow with impatience, eagerly anticipating the denouement of this chronicle. Truly, my dear, as I have oft said, you are a creature of discerning taste, perpetually susceptible to the charms of culinary novelty.

P.S. the staff is kinda slay
