  1. My husband and I go to this particular Tesco every Saturday for our main shop. There are several things which make the shopping quite a difficult task but, the reason for this particular review is due to a situation we encountered this evening – Saturday 9 November. We realised after having carried out our main grocery shop earlier in the day, we had forgotten coffee therefore, we called back into the store at approximately 18:30. On getting our coffee we saw that it was on offer so we went ahead and took the pack to the till. Once at the till the price came up as more than was advertised. Obviously we questioned this and my husband went and had a look to make sure we hadn’t made a mistake. One of the supervisor’s on duty went to where my husband was and they both checked the coffee price. It transpired that the coffee we had chosen was in the incorrect place so, the price was for another coffee, not the one we had chosen. What annoyed me was when the supervisor advised this, she then said ‘I’ll reduce it on this occasion’ to which I thought, hold on, it’s not our fault that the Tesco produce is in the wrong place, you’re not doing us a favour, this is a Tesco mistake/issue, not ours so please, don’t put a compliment on giving us the coffee at the reduced rate because it was in the wrong place due to a Tesco error.

    Unfortunately, we find that this happens on a very regular basis and when we’ve had to go to Customer Services in the past and queue up to get yet another price issue sorted, there’s no apology, no nothing. I thought Tesco used to have a policy that if a customer was charged incorrectly and had to queue to get it sorted, Tesco would refund the whole amount of that product due to the inconvenience caused to the customer? Unfortunately, it would appear that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore so, there’s no incentive for Tesco to have to make sure the pricing structure is correct even though the customer has had to go to the customer services department, queue up, go and have the product price checked and then be proven right on most occasions.

    Come on Tesco, either make sure the pricing structure is correct and all the products and labels are in the right places or if you are unable to do that, make sure the customer is recompensed for the inconvenience caused.

  2. Came here to pick up my Click & Collect from IKEA
    Lovely service well-done IKEA and Tesco for making this service to Cowley and local customers.Saves having to drive to Reading and saves paying for delivery.
    A massive thankyou to the guys that I picked up from DX they put my items safely into my car and told me what I needed to know.Will be using this service again
    Just go to IKEA website and ask for Click and collect you pick where you want to pick up from then you are giving window times
    Either in morning or Afternoon.

    The guys that helped me with my Billy were so helpful I want DX to keep them on this as they did so well.

    I hope this carries on so myself or anyone else can order items.

  3. I found a dead spider and cobwebs in my grapes… Use by dates are consistently very low and quality of produce doesn’t seem great. Also, the in-store self-scan machines are very slow to scan items.

Paid for the grocery and my bill was with my colleague who went near the car park I had to enter again to get some fruits,the staff shouted repeatedly did u pay?where is your bill,call your colleague with the receipt,the other staff confirmed that I paid still she kept asking like a police,shouting again and finally asked me to be calm,worst customer service,staff needs more training..
