Lovely friendly cafe on London Road with a small number of seats. Staff are very friendly and the coffee was nice quality and the filled bagel was excellent. Bought a couple of pistachio financiers to take away and the were delicious. Would pop back in to try more of their sandwiches and cakes in the future
Amazing all around!
An absolute hidden gem that should not be missed by coffee lovers and foodies alike! I cannot commend enough the owners for the amazing attention to detail, dedication, and craft they show to everything they are selling in their shop.
The homemade sandwiches and cakes/desserts are incredibly delicious, bursting with flavour, and just feed the soul! I definitely had the best Basque Cheesecake outside of Spain; totally worth the extra calories!
Pair everything up with very tasty coffee, and you definitely have an amazing pit stop to start the day or recharge!
Should we return to Edinburgh, we will return without a doubt!
Such a cute little cosy cafe! Amazing selection of food and drinks. I had a lovely, warming lentil soup, a mocha and such a welcoming chat with Frances! Will definitely be going again
Absolutely deserves 5 stars! What a lovely cafe/bakery. I was surprised that this place was so quiet when we visited on Saturday morning. Frances is very welcoming and super friendly. I can’t believe that she does this all by herself; it’s very impressive. She has a nice selection of sweet and savoury food. She learnt a lot of her baking skills whilst she visited France and it was lovely to hear some of her story. My wife got the bacon roll which she thought was excellent and I got the focaccia filled with amazing ingredients that I can’t remember, but I do remember it tasting unbelievable! The focaccia was large and satiating. We had room for a pistachio financier which had a very unique texture and tasted fantastically sweet. Bill came to a reasonable price. What a wonderful place which we will definitely be back too.
Homemade cakes and coffee to die for, made and served by the lovely Frances. Great place to relax and chill in with a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I’d highly recommend!
Also dog friendly which is always an added bonus!
