The Bardo Coffee House

1. 4.5/5 – great coffee, didn’t try any food besides the pumpkin bread that’s cooked at a local bakery (delicious). Will return and possibly bump the score after trying to food.

   Coffee is solid and par for the course regarding cost-flavored ratio.

   The vibe inside is wonderful, one of my favorite coffee shop interiors in Denver. Great for studying or working from home.

   Location is a little rough right outside Broadway – the outdoor seating is pretty unpleasant because it sits right on what is essentially a 5-lane highway, but that is Denver’s fault mostly. Great access to this spot with the bike lane nearby.

   I want to visit again and try some of their other food options before potentially bumping to a 5. This is a special spot and the people of the neighborhood obviously love it. I just wish it was on a calmer street.

2. This is a great spot if you’re a college student trying to write a paper late night or someone trying to do work. It’s a good vibe welcoming vibe and it’s open late (for Denver).

   The drinks I had were great, the fourteener was like drinking a turmeric milkshake and the turmeric latte was great, a lot of places will mess up a turmeric latte by adding too much sweetness that overrides the turmeric flavor but not here. I was satisfied with Eve but the lumberjack, its apple flavor is STRONG and it wasn’t what I was expecting but luckily with their policy if you get a speciality drink you don’t like they’ll make a different one which I truly appreciate.

   If you’ve been to Austin TX it’s very Bennu vibes, it’s a place to do work for students looking to work on a paper late night. It was a good spot, I’ll be back if I need to do work

3. Perfect place to stop no matter the occasion. The decor and vibe of the place is very relaxed, the menu is extensive and has a great variety, and the employees were great. The offer indoor and outdoor seating, dog treats, clean gender neutral bathrooms, and WiFi. They seem to bring in a lot of the college crowd (there were a lot of people there working on laptops and enjoying cups of joe). Overall, a wonderful place to stop! I loved the gluten free zucchini bread and their hot chocolate.

4. Love the old era atmosphere. It’s not fancy. It’s a very down-to-earth, unpretentious warm place. I’m an old soul so this place was very cozy for me. Ordered their espresso over ice and lemon poppy seed bread, my husband got their chocolate drink and the croissant cinnamon roll. Everything was delicious but the croissant cinnamon roll stole the show! They also have a printer in the shop. I imagine it’s for the people who go there to do their work on their laptop. It’s a really great place to be real and just chill.

5. Today was my first time visiting. I was quickly attended and got great customer service when deciding my drink and customizing it. I got the Bardo and it was amazing. I am always hesitant to try new coffee shops but will definitely be coming back. Bacon breakfast burrito was very good. Everyone was super helpful and very patient. If you are not sure about trying this place do it and you won’t regret it. This place is also great to do homework, study, etc. Free wifi. Felt like what a home should feel like.
