  1. Have never been compelled to write a review so quickly. We had a lovely meal at The Baring. The quail was excellent, mains were fresh and creative, and the plum cake was a perfect end. The service was exceptional and extremely attentive. Can’t wait to be back to try the Sunday roast!

  2. A fantastic Sunday lunch. Friendly & attentive service. All of the courses were delicious. We particularly enjoyed the toasted rice ice cream to finish. Would highly recommend!

  3. Been meaning to go to the baring for a long time and can assure you, it did not disappoint! Absolutely loved my experience here. Cosy environment and nice vibe with very friendly staff. But most importantly, the food was outright delicious! None pretentious plates but great flavours and variety of food. Highly recommend. Quail shish was 10/10 as well as the pork collar.

The baring is the brilliant pub in Islington, north of London.

The pub has brilliant choices of wine and cocktails. The food is also freshly made with great taste.

The cod is very fresh with kind of creamy sauce.

Salad is full of different vegetables and leaves. Well prepared onions taste sweet and yummy.

Chicken liver parfait is also great choice and must try dish. I tried it with bread!

If you want to have a chill time with friends, the Baring is the brilliant choice with reasonable price, good food and nice wine.

    💰Price: £50 per person

  5. The Baring is a chilled out pub with good food, very relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. The chicken parfait and Bloody Mary was outstanding! We thought the tomato salad tasted a bit odd but the main pork roast was good. Thought the food was over salted for our taste but still delicious nevertheless.
