The Boathouse

1. Food was excellent and generously priced. Family members ordered the chowder, fish pie and steak pie, all three were very generously portioned. I had the sea bass fillet seen in the photo – the food was spectacular but I could have eaten another portion. Staff were very friendly but felt as if we were seated quite close to other guests and that felt a bit too personal, especially when they started talking to us. Couldn’t fault the staff or kitchen at all.

2. Dog friendly outside.

   Beautiful desserts but unfortunately they stopped serving food at 4pm until the evening unless you had booked in advance.

   Quick service with a lovely, chatty waiter.

   Gorgeous views and well decorated.
   Can have a quick walk along the small beach for the dogs.

   Parking can be a bit of a fight but decent spaces.

3. Excellent Food, we have been here many times, its a must book as its always packed.
   They serve lots of fresh sea food, lots of specials that are always changing.
   Great location, stepping straight out onto the sea front.

4. Staff lovely and helpful. Had the best sandwich I’ve ever had!!! So tasty couldn’t recommend enough.

5. Visited the Boathouse today, 6th April, and had a fantastic meal. We both had Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas. The meal was excellent. The Boathouse has a great atmosphere with a great and friendly staff. The restaurant was busy, yet the service was so quick.
