The Coffee Tree

1. I don’t like to rave too much, but The Coffee Tree was way beyond our expectations. This is a family run establishment, and we were warmly and enthusiastically welcomed the moment we walked in the door. We were just there for an afternoon snack, so we just ordered the mixed greens with their peanut-chilli sauce, which was delicious. We also had coffee and tea, which were both very good. All of the staff were genuinely friendly and seemed to enjoy what they do. We left wishing we had more time in the area, just so we could go back to The Coffee Tree. If back in Londonderry, this will definitely be on my list.

2. Small coffee shop, big sandwiches. Could have easily shared this massive sandwich, but I had no idea! Cute spot but a bit small if they are crowded. Was already caffeinated so I didn’t try the coffee but it looked good!

   Walked in drenched and chilled, greeted immediately with warmth and welcome. Ordered an Americano, best I’ve had this side of the Atlantic.
   Went back for another, grabbed a cup of homemade green soup and a peanut butter cookie topped with chocolate bits for dessert—-all grand.
   Even so, the real stand outs are the owner and staff. They enjoy each other and their product, making for a cozy, convivial little cafe environment.
   Haven’t had such generous service in weeks.

4. Been here a few times for coffee and always find the team really friendly, efficient and professional with good quality coffee!

   The wee shortbread that they give you with your drink is both delicious and a nice touch … although the first time I had coffee, I thought it was a sugar lump on the top for me to add to the coffee so I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a nice piece of shortbread!!

   I picked up a few of their baked goods this time when I was there and they were exceptionally good quality a delicious peanut butter cookie, A gluten-free brownie, Bakewell tart and a delicious caramel cheesecake slice!! 10/10!!

   Whilst I was there to collect my take away I did see some of the sandwiches that they were serving and they look excellent so I’ll definitely be back to try one of those!

   Highly recommended!

5. Stumbled into this amazing wee cafe, staff were absolutely amazing!! Took the time to go through the menu and explained everything to us, extra speedy service! And sandwiches were 11/10!! Got a little sweet treat after lunch and it was probably one of the best brownies we’ve had. Already planning a trip back and we live 2 hours away! Thankyou for exceptional service and amazing food!!
