We had a party meal here in the middle of October, and 16 of us attended.
Service was on point. All the food was brought out to us at the same time.
Bar service was very good.
Food was also superb, I left a few chips as the 16oz burger was more than a mouthful on its own.
My boy had the same, and he ate all his, so it’s well worth ordering the burger.
Sizzling chicken looked amazing and was sizzling on the hot plate at the table.
Fish and chips looked good. A huge fish was served.
Kids’ meals were also well portioned, and everyone was happy.
It was the first time I’d been here, and I will be going back again.
Lovely home cooked food. The corned beef pie, peas and chips was delicious. I’d definitely recommend this charming village pub for a bite to eat.
Our friend from Malaysia booked this restaurant. He mentioned that the famous actor Richard Burton lived in the village, and indeed, there were many framed pictures of him displayed on the walls. When we arrived, it wasn’t very crowded since it was a Monday, but we had to wait at the bar until a staff member approached us.
Our friend got an appetizer. We then ordered a beef burger, ale pie, and I tried the fajitas. The portions were huge, and while we couldn’t finish our meals, they were really good.
It was definitely worth visiting this restaurant.
I’ve come to The Colliers Arms on plenty of occasions now and everytime we have had a fantastic meal. We had the T-bone on the specials board, the sirloin and the fish shop platter. The kids meal deal with ice cream included is such a good price too. Everything was cooked to perfection and the steak melted in your mouth. Great service and lovely atmosphere.
Good food , staff very friendly . Only down side , they don’t serve real ale , just one beer available.
