Historic bar right at George Square. Outdoor seating is good for a view of the city but the inside is like no other. I have been to many countries but haven’t seen a bar like the counting house. Loved the character of this place. You have to visit to know what it is 🙂
A beautiful pub, wide space, and with low prices for the Ford and beer, you can find a beer pint for 3 pounds. Also they have a good variety of beers and plates. The exterior and interior are remarkable. Go and enjoy. I find it in my last day, it is only the sad part
Really incredible pub. Beautiful old building in a great location in the corner of Queen St and George Square. The prices are incredible (I paid £2.01 for my pint).
As a result, the place is always busy. These photos were taken at 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon.
Well, worth a visit…..you’ll love it!!
I can’t believe I’ve been Glaswegian since 2021 and only had my first Spoons about 3 months ago. Altho late to the Scottish party, I took to the chicken wings + Prosecco like fish to the water.
Would recommend any Wetherspoons in Glasgow (and all over the UK) if you want a taste of the varied, beautiful British cuisine. Fish and chips? Chicken Tikka Masala? Beef Lasagna? Udon noodles? Tempura prawn sushi? We have it ALL here in Glasgow city centre.
Do visit our green country 🏴 🍃 And connect with me for a nice local guided tour/ political discussion/ religious history lesson/ uni academic experience review…..People make Glasgow, not expensive things or exploitative companies.
See you laters, alligators 🐊
Divya ❤️🏴🍃
Like all Wetherspoons you get what you pay for really. Cheap beers and food but not enough staff to cope with the number of customers so can be waiting a while to be served. But drinks tasted fine and definitely not the worst Wetherspoons I’ve been to. Also very nice decorations and building itself
