  1. Flight delayed so came in here with 6 friends from a team. Nice patio, inside seating. Grabbed some drinks, sat near fireplace. One weird thing I still don’t understand. Some left to grab our luggage, and we came back to order more drinks and we were refused. Apparently refused because of us wearing our team apparel outfits tops and bottoms. Same bartender said this to me after taking my order 20 minutes earlier, and while half of others still sitting at fireplace drinking their original drink. Maybe 3 other people in there, it was empty. Didn’t make much sense to us so we left. A little backwards I’d say?

  2. I recently visited this place. Downstairs, there’s a pub with an excellent atmosphere and great live music. Upstairs, there’s a restaurant with a similarly inviting ambiance and exquisite food.

We ordered the ribs and wings combo with chips, and everything was delicious. The ribs were some of the best I’ve ever had, tender and full of flavor. The wings and chips were equally impressive, making for a perfect meal. The service was also very good, with friendly and attentive staff who made our dining experience even better.

Overall, this place offers the best of both worlds: a lively pub downstairs and a fantastic restaurant upstairs. It’s a must-visit if you’re in Belfast and looking for great food and a vibrant atmosphere.

  3. If you are looking for a pub in Belfast this might be a good choice… live music, good crowd, lovely ambiance and right in the city centre… nice done in the old architecture.. and the fire place inside…

  4. Came in without a reservation even when it was fully booked out. They gave us a buzzer and told us to grab few pints downstairs while they try to get us a table. After 30ish we got a table.
Food is definitely worth the wait and the staff were very polite and friendly. The price is average for the city.
We got the Ribs and Wings + Side combo deal, Loaded fries with the gravy and chicken. Over all it was enough for two people to be feeling stuffed afterwards.
Highly recommend marking this spot for places to eat!

  5. The Dirty Onion and Yardbird

My colleague and I recently dined at The Dirty Onion and Yardbird, and it was a fantastic experience. We opted for the ribs and wings combo, and the food did not disappoint. The ribs were tender and flavorful, and the wings had the perfect balance of spice and crispiness. The beer selection was impressive, complementing our meal nicely.

The service stood out as well—friendly, attentive, and efficient, making our visit even more enjoyable. If you’re a fan of chicken, this place is a must-visit. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning soon.
