The Dock Town Grill

1. Had a beautiful meal, this was my third visit and food was consistently good over each visit. I’m gluten free due to coeliac disease and they were very knowledgeable and careful

2. We celebrated my son’s 15th birthday with a meal here. The food was gorgeous😍, especially the brisket bites, mac n cheese balls, chicken tenders and the onion rings 😋. The staff were all so lovely too. Well worth a visit!!

   The weekend just gone I celebrated my 25th Birthday, yeah that’s right 25 (35) and I will fight anyone who says otherwise 😅

   Well anyways I figured what better way to celebrate my birthday than at an authentic BBQ smoke house, that’s right I am talking about the recently opened Dock Town Grill on Broad Street in Barry! 🍔🍖🍗🥩

   I’ve heard a lot about this place since they opened November last year so I just had to pay them a visit!

   ➡️ Today’s Menu:

   🥩 Burnt Ends

   Burnt brisket ends, BBQ cola beer sauce.

   🧆 Mac & Cheese Balls

   With corn relish

   🍗 Chicken Tenders

   With ranch, chipotle & shoestrings

   🍔 Dixie Chick

   Southern-style buttermilk thighs, American cheese, lettuce, pickles chipotle mayo and ranch sauce and Dock Town Fries.

   🍗 Peri Peri Roast Chicken

   With mango salsa & pickled red onion and Dock Town Fries.

   🥩 Low & Slow BBQ Brisket

   With pickled red cabbage and Dock Town Fries

   🍖 Harga’s Ribs (half)

   Cola beer bbq sauce & pickled jalapeno

   🍽️ Review:

   I honestly don’t even know where to start on this one!

   Everything and I mean everything tasted absolutely incredible, I genuinely thought this was a sports bar…oh how I was wrong!

   In terms of the starters they were all lovely, the burnt ends were super tasty and cooked perfectly. The chicken tenders were ridiculously good, very fresh and crispy batter and man those and cheese balls were lush too!

   Our mains were just insane and also very big portions, very good value for money I would say!

   The Harga’s ribs were delicious, the meat just fell of the bone. The Peri Peri chicken was huge and cooked perfectly, very nicely seasoned.

   Our favourite dishes though would have to be either the Dixie Chick burger, nice and fluffy crispy batter, toasted bun and the sauce in the burger was very nice too.

   And it would also have to be the BBQ brisket as this was just amazing, the beef was just so tender. We honestly couldn’t get enough of it!

   Guys trust me when I say this is an absolute must visit 👏

4. Wow , this place is amazing, great food, atmosphere and fantastic service. And it’s an independent business. It’s a must visit place. Good size portions, 👌

5. Outstanding service and tasty dishes! The ambiance was relaxing, and the staff was super attentive. Ideal spot for family meals or date nights. I’m excited to come back!
