Chips, crispy.
Toasty tuna is toasted to perfection and the cheese is melted perfectly.
Coffee has that strong coffee taste which I love and has a thick layer of froth on top which all coffees Should have.
Overall atmosphere and staff were very kind and feels welcoming.
Would recommend and come again!
Had a toasties meal deal – tuna melt, salad and hot chocolate. Overall £8 ( extra cream)
The tuna melt was very good – it was creamy and was well made and toasted nicely. Really enjoyed it. The salad was very fresh, with vinegarette, and was tasty. The hot chocolate was warm, creamy and very generously proportioned. Overall I’d say 10/10 for a meal deal.
The service was a bit slow though – we were a group of five and by the time the last order came through, I had finished my drink and food, so it would be better if this was worked on. Great and polite service otherwise! The patrons were very patient with us and engaging.
two storey cafe / restaurant space, connected to a hostel. work friendly and spacious! the mango smoothie (3.95£) was delicious, food was average
The worst food and service ever. The food was low quality and tasteless, the staff weren’t interested and hopeless, forgot about one of two drinks and brought the wrong dish. We only ate it because we were starving, but even though we regretted eating it.
The Polish manager likes to break the law and publicly fire employees and humiliating them in front of other staff and customers. Also expected him to come in while being sick around the food because it’s “company expectation “. If you care about your health and also just general kindness of employees that serve you don’t bother with the grain house. Embarrassing for customers and the staff. Again I only know this because she broke the law and publicly fired someone for refusing to stay on in the kitchen after vomiting. Also he was in the right to refuse to come in on those days he was sick because surprise, surprise, he was on a 0 hour contract
Shame on you lady.
