The Hungry Monkey

1. The Hungry Monkey is a reliable brunch spot with good-sized portions. The food arrived quickly as it wasn’t busy during my visit. However, I was confused by how bland the syrup for the pancakes was. I’m not sure if this is normal, but just a heads up.

2. Okay, this place hit the spot when it comes to breakfast. A must-try is the Chucky Monkey Banana Pancake 🥞. Oh my goodness, it’s amazing! My husband loved his omelet. I would definitely come back again. So, if you’re looking for an amazing breakfast, don’t look any further. Come here!

3. Service was quick. Menu is simple but still plenty of options. They played good 60s/70s tunes

4. Super cute and cozy place. Food came warm and was delicious! The omelette was pretty big and even after eating hours ago, I am still full! Can’t wait to go back again! I recommend the Chili and cheese omelette!

5. This is a nice and comfortable spot for a family breakfast. The customer service was outstanding, and each waitress/waiter was very tentative to keep my coffee cup full and hot (along with my guest). There was no wait time for my group for a seat (despite the morning rush). But witnessing how long other groups waited, I feel that the food is not worth the wait.
   They do have vegetarian options, and that is a plus for my books. Never the less, each dish I tried was flavorless and bland. Presentation of each dish was a disappointment. The photos you see attached to this review are semi corrected presentation dishes. Portion sizes of each dish was slightly less then I expected. I do wish the chef showed as much passion for their work as their waitress/waiters do.
   This location is very clean and comfortable. There is curb parking and a paid parking lot about 1 block away from the front door. I will visit again to perhaps give them the 5 stars they deserve.
