Great atmosphere.
To start, we got zucchini frites. Which were super good. They were nice and crunchy, perfectly shaped and the sauce was tasty. We also tried the truffle pasta which was nice and tasty. Highly recommend the zucchini.
For dinner, we got shepherds pie, which was flavorful and filling. The meat was tender. The peas were a cook accompaniment to it.
We also got the chicken Milanese. The breading was a little burnt. The sauce was good though. I would get something else next time. Not the biggest fan.
For dessert we got the sticky toffee pudding. Which was excellent. I think I would have preferred ice cream on top, but still very good.
Lovely evening with my mum!
I wanted to have a great British classic dish so my mum and I decided to go for the traditional Fish & Chips. It was beyond tasty and delicious! A generous portion with an amazing crisp coating. The chips were perfect! The tartar sauce was outstanding! I really liked the way in which the lemon 🍋 was given, with a net so to avoid the seeds to fall in the food. Very nice idea 👌as well as amazingly presented!
Miranda was our waitress, she was super attentive as well as helpful. She gave her best and genuine advice and she was ready at our attention. She went the extra mile with her smile!
I enjoy eating at different The Ivy franchises. There was a slight issue with my order but this was promptly resolved and a drink was given to me on the house, I had the steak with pepper sauce, fries and a red wine.
The minute steak is light and good for not so heavy meals.
Great service from the staff all round!
The service is excellent and the attention to you is something I never experienced like that before. Wonderful.
I ordered the 3 course option of the “Taste of Autumn” menu and … WOW … it’s delicious.
The Ivy’s £19.17 menu for two courses is an absolute winner. The food always feels value for money and meats and fish are always cooked excellently. Have come to this restaurant multiple times for a variety of different meals (with the 1917, for brunch, dinner, and lunch) with my partner, family, and friends – it’s a winner. You can’t go wrong with the Ivy if you’re looking for a nice meal in a beautiful restaurant with comfortable and spacious seating. The decor is gorgeous and hearkens back to the old society clubs of London. The duck liver parfait is one of my favourite dishes in London (creamy and rich without too much of a gamey flavour) and is very well priced for the amount served.
