Lovely little cafe in the heart of Camden with absolutely gorgeous breakfasts. I had the “Lost Benedict” which was delicious. The pomegranate seeds set the whole thing off and it was fresh and textured and just a perfect start to the day. The place is small but feels cosy and there’s a couple of outside tables which we used as the weather was nice. Service was fantastic and the food came very quickly. Definitely be back here next time we’re in Camden
Great place just few minutes away from Camden market, but it was filled with locals when we came in. We were lucky it was a sunny day and we could enjoy their terrace, they have quite a nice big space there! The place is bigger than it looks from outside, plenty of seating space and plenty of food options!! Lots of sweet, savoury and healthy choices. The iced chai latte was lovely, and the pancakes were delicious. Staff was friendly and service was fast despite being super busy, they had a lot of people working. Such a lovely place!
After reading some great reviews, we decided to try out this little cafe in Camden but left sorely disappointed. We were seated quite quickly, however that was the only decent bit of service. Menus were sticky and tired, we waited 20 minutes to order, and staff bickered amongst themselves multiple times in front of guests. Furthermore, after finishing my hot drink, I spotted a sizable chip on my glass; upon making two members of staff aware of this, neither apologised and just brushed it off.
The menu is definitely vast (although do check the food descriptions, as I spotted a dish that contains walnuts but didn’t have the ‘contains nuts’ key next to it) and was generally good. We ordered two dishes that came with poached eggs, and unfortunately, the eggs on one of the dishes were completely hard boiled.
It might also make it easier for staff and guests if table numbers were added to the tables, as we were asked for our number when we went to pay however that information was nowhere to be seen!
Maybe we visited on a bad day, but I can’t imagine we’ll be returning to see.
This establishment is an exceptional choice for breakfast, lunch, or brunch. The food is superbly prepared, complemented by a delightful selection of beverages. The rooftop terrace offers a stunning setting, enhancing the overall dining experience. While the staff are friendly and accommodating, service can occasionally be slow, so it may be necessary to seek their attention. Nevertheless, the visit is highly worthwhile. If you find yourself in Camden during the daytime, particularly in pleasant weather, this venue is a must-visit. Highly recommended.
Stopped in for breakfast. Had the Taste of Turkey which was spot on. All the food was great. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
