1. Went for a Wednesday carvery and was surprised at how cheap it was and how lovely the food was. Beef and turkey was tender and huge selection of vegetables including roast, boiled and mash potatoes. Great service, really helpful and friendly, we’ll be back for sure.

2. Visited whilst watching Cardiff get battered by Swansea ladies 3-0

   Seemed nice, post and lovely food. Our drinks were cheap enough but only instant coffee and tea which was as terrible as the liberty.

3. First time here, and I was quite surprised Sunday lunch was good, and the service was excellent. The waitresses were great, nothing too much trouble. Very reasonable prices

4. DONT BOTHER! Had a carvery absolutely awful! Beef was very dry requested it was changed and was advised that this was the last. Had turkey which was edible. The vegetables, I have no other words apart from a watery mess. Gravy was barely luke warm. Even though I had turkey I was given a yorkshire pudding which was golden brown on one side and burnt to a black crisp on the other side. The staff not once during or after asked if our meals were edible. The icing on the cake was the staff clearly wanted to close, so were dragging tables across the floor which was so loud I couldn’t hear what my friends were saying. They were then dismantling tables and again dropping the side bars. I reached out to the owners to raise my concerns and no response thus my advising people not to waste their hard earned money on poor food and service.
