The Percy French

1. First time in the Percy French in 6 years and it’s still as good as it was. Our server Chrissy was very nice and couldn’t be more helpful.

   We both opted for the fish and chips and weren’t disappointed. The batter was light and melts in your mouth, whilst the chips are well cooked and plentiful, no skimping here!

   Would love to see the restaurant bring back the seafood chowder served in a bread bowl. It was a classic.

2. Great food nice view and great service.
   The special was the salmon which was cooked to perfection.
   I had the chicken and leak pice and mash. Especially nice.

3. It was our first time in it but we really enjoyed the experience the food was delicious😋 and the staff were friendly and attentive in all aspects of the service 🙂

4. Great food. Nice wine. Very reasonable prices. The Staff are very friendly and attentive. The Seafood Chowder 10 out of 10 and the scampi was amazing.

5. One of our party has gluten allergy, asked before we sat down if they offered gluten free options and were told most dishes could be adapted.
   Once it came to ordering it became obvious there was only one gluten free starter option and only two main course options ….waited a long time for food to arrive, even though restaurant was not particularly busy. Food was ok but nothing special. Service was a bit hap hazard. Also children running up and down which didn’t make for a pleasant dinning experience.
   Won’t rush back, unfortunately.
