The Red Parrot Restaurant

1. Mostly good. No duck for my rubber ducky drink (only reason I ordered it) but she did offer to replace it if I wanted. Huge portion for the fish and chips, and the fish awesome quality- it just needed to be cooked a little longer and have the grease drained. Couldn’t eat the fries because they were saturated in oil. The lobster rangoons were exceptional. My husbands wings were good.

2. Amazing place. We loved the atmosphere and the food! They had a ton of gluten free options (mac&cheese, sandwiches, burgers, pizza…). We ordered pasta with lobster and a lobster/shrimp appetizer and it was just perfect. Incredibly delicious and great portions.

3. The atmosphere is awesome. It’s right by the water. Beautiful scene at night. Have three floors, and an outside area to eat if you like to be outside. The food was pretty good. I had the Lobster Mac Fries. Let’s just say it was a lot of Mac on them fries. Food was a 7.6/10 but everything else made this place a 9.2/10

4. A must do stop while in Newport Rhode Island. One of the most comprehensive restaurant menus I have ever seen. It is actually a binder filled with amazing seafood options. Too many to list. Pictures provided below. The food was delicious. Excellent service and fair prices for the large portions. Absolutely one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. Outstanding!!!

5. It was extremely busy and we understand when it’s busy, but we had to ask our waiter for everything. Four of us Ate us and three of our dishes were salty and one was cold. Key pie came warm and whipped cream was warm and flat as well. Presentation was nice.
