  1. Food pretty bad and overpriced. Had the Roasted Sweet Potato salad, this cost me £11.95 but was shocked when it actually arrived. This does not look like what was listed on the menu.

Was obviously still hungry and I should have left and just gone elsewhere to one of the many lovely coffee shops near by but I was lazy and that is my own fault. Instead I ordered crisps, a choc muffin and a chai latte. The choc muffin was dry and tasted like bicarb and my chai latte tasted like cheap syrup had been put in for flavour. Just chemical taste. All in all I spent nearly £25 and feel very sad now. Really disappointed.

Also, just a heads up, they don’t have WiFi.

  2. Stopped in for a light bite and a drink after a long day on our feet exploring Brighton.
I purchased a salmon focaccia and an apple juice and we sat outside to enjoy the sunshine.
The focaccia was £6.95, but absolutely HUGE. So much so that I cut it in half and took the rest home to eat later on – I would say because of this it was fantastic value for money. Only slight downside was the focaccia itself had gone slightly doggy because of the wet filling, but it was still tasty.

  3. I always visit here when I am shopping in The Laines. Coffee is exceptional… I have experienced the vegetarian sausage roll. It was utterly delicious! One thing though, is the loo needs checking regularly… there is only one toilet and twice now, there has been no loo paper and it needs a thorough deep clean in there too. Great coffee though and lovely ambiance.

  4. Amazing espresso selection with great latte art and milk texture, and the atmosphere with the bags of beans and roaster was certainly a spectacle for a coffee lover! The food was pretty good, though for the price I wish it had more flavour, nonetheless was still satisfying, defo worth a visit!
