Good place for working, though it doesn’t have as many outlets as expected given how the space is marketed on the website. Food and coffee were a solid 3 stars, not horrible but nothing memorable (portions on the pancakes were also disappointing). Service took a while to get the food and drink to us, but did it with a smile and with great attentiveness.
Everything looks good here, the coffee is great and the service is good as well, recommended.
Updated from 5 to 3.
Very limited options for lunch… There is sourdough and there is ham but I just cannot order a ham cheese toastie 🥲.
Had to eat a cold ham cheese filled croissant. (I really don’t want to eat avocado today, and scrambled egg is too easy for me to make at home.)Even family restaurants have more options and can deliver them without issues— here there are only four options and three are not available.
Cold and simple, nothing special. Just a big thin not-very-fluffy mediocre croissant with slices of cheese and ham out of the fridge. Why did I bother to imagine melted cheese in a toasted croissant…
The cocoa porridge looks beautiful, but I’ve had breakfast already.
All stars goes to the coffee. Nice rich nutty flat white as expected from my last visit.
With almost no light from the ceiling, the space is too dim for reading a book.
Probably only coming back for coffee and cake on a bright day.

Delicious iced latte with a hint of caramel.
The cakes look adorable.
The window side bar table is nice.
Finally stopped by doing some errands in the area… Will come back when I get to Chesterton again, despite lack of wifi.
Had the most delicious lunch there today! I chose vegan just to try it and it was absolutely delicious! Can highly recommend.
Consistently tasty coffee, oat latte, matcha lattes are very tasty. The salad and mushrooms are both very tasty, but the Sage club sandwich was a little disappointing. Also, I think the tofu in the salad could do with some marinating or cooking or seasoning or something as raw tofu is a little bland.
There’s also two items on the menu that are similarly named. (The club sandwich and the Sage club sandwich) meaning it’s easy for staff and customers to get them confused, problematic for allergies and dietary preferences alike. (Sage is the vegan one)
