The Shahinoor Tandoori

1. Avoid if you want your order to arrive within 90 minutes, ordered at 7.30pm and was told food would be delivered within the hour, no show after 75 mins so I called them to be told food is ready but waiting for a delivery driver to come back but cannot say when that will be , faced with a possible further long wait and stale food I asked them to cancel the order and the phone was put straight down , no goodbye, no apologies, nothing, I phoned straight back and asked the person who answered if he was the guy who hung up on me when he replied yes I asked to speak to the manager, “he is too busy” was the reply, I told him that I would wait and eventually the manager came on the phone, I told him exactly what happened and that customer service is the most important part of any business, a lukewarm “sorry” was given but no effort was made to put right the lack of service or address their obvious failings , they don’t deserve customers and with a number of other Indian takeaways in Cwmbran offering a better reliable customer focused service I would recommend using another takeaway that is not so complacent and probably better value too

2. Called in for first time on a dreary Tuesday night. Was given free poppadoms, onion salad and mince sauce with my meat madras. Marvellous.

3. Absolutely gorgeous food as always never had a bad meal from here and brilliant staff 😀

4. The Shahinoor Tandoori is only a take away, the seating area when waiting for food could be improved upon, but the food is amazing.

5. Always use this place. Best curry I’ve ever had. Tryed others but never been like this place. Is little on pricey side but we’ll worth that extra for what you get. Always comes really hot and really fast delivery. Had chicken korma
   Lamb tikka masala
   2 chips
   2 rice
   2 pompadoms
   And a garlic bread meat thing for price of £39.40 which for taste don’t seem to bad.
