The Spires Cafe

1. Today we visited a wonderful cafe in the very center of the city. We really liked the casual atmosphere and the relaxed friendly guys who work here. The food is excellent! My baked salmon, served with potatoes and salad, was excellent! Also, the traditional pizza The spires was very good. A huge plus was the water cooler, we arrived and were very thirsty. And here’s great news for all animal lovers – you and your dog will be welcome here! This time we did not have time to try desserts, but next time we will definitely do it! I will be happy to come back here again.

2. Great breakfast, super friendly staff and a very pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, home-made, with generous portions. Convenient location next to the central bus station – we had a reservation for 10 people before our departure from Oxford. The staff created some space for our luggage and made sure that we enjoyed our meal. We would highly recommend it!

3. Lovely food for a very reasonable price! My partner and I bother really enjoyed the mushrooms (very flavourful), I liked the avocado toast, and my partner was very impressed with the bacon, which was quite thick and apparently tasty.
   They have a few vegan options including the vegan breakfast (pictured), and a couple vegan cakes.
   The decor is quaint, with lots of clean tables. We went just as they opened so it was very quiet and the service was quick.
   Highly recommend!

4. We came here because we saw a high-star review, and I have to confirm that they deserve these high stars. I love their sharing option; we ordered a vegetarian English breakfast, very high quality and delicious! the portion is enough for two, and very2 value for money. The cafe has a character, without the market outside, it offers a very nice Oxford ambience. Good news for Muslims, the staff said chicken is halal. You can ask again if you would like a confirmation, if it is not, please make a review to correct my info.

5. I love this cafe.
   The staff are so incredibly friendly. Always smiling and gentle and happy to help.
   You can refill your water in glasses and a tap stand in the cafe.
   Plenty of seating and beautiful interior that feels warm and cosy yet modern.
   Plugs in the wall for charging phones, laptops etc. so a great place to work. They don’t pressure you to leave after you finish your drink or meal, you can just sit and enjoy the space.
   Quiet inside and peaceful – I also love the music they play in the background.
   The food is AMAZING!! I ordered the stuffed aubergine last time and wow, the portion size was SO generous and it tasted delicious! I ended up taking half of it away with me in a takeaway box. Their hot chocolate is also the best in Oxford (yes, it’s as good as Knoops!)
   Can’t recommend enough – thank you Spires ❤️
