2. My recent visit to Toby Carvery in Bridgend was nothing short of amazing, and a huge part of that was due to our incredible waitress, Stacey. From the moment we arrived, Stacey greeted us with such genuine warmth that we felt like old friends. Her attention to detail was impeccable—she remembered our drink preferences without needing to ask twice and made sure our glasses were never empty.

   Stacey’s knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she guided us through the best options with such enthusiasm that we were excited to try everything she recommended. She even took the time to engage with our kids, making them laugh and feel just as important as the adults. It was clear that Stacey truly enjoys what she does, and her passion for providing top-notch service shines through in every interaction.

   The food was, of course, delicious—the carvery was fresh, the roast meats were succulent, and the sides were plentiful. But it was Stacey’s exceptional service that made this meal stand out. She has a knack for anticipating needs before you even realize you have them, and she managed to make our evening feel special in a way that few servers can.

3. The starters are hit and miss, had the cheesy garlic bread that tasted like it was 3 days old. The carvery itself is lovely, meat is tender and loads of veg to choose from. The puddings are really nice. I don’t know why but every Toby I’ve visited the chef carving the meat seem to be unhappy, never seen them smile, they must have the worst job in the place.

4. nice meal in all but the beef was terrible on this occasion. Very fatty, but the rest was very good. Drinks and dessert extremely expensive in my opinion £3.25+ for a j2o. £6.25 for 10 bottles of j20 in Morrisons.

5. A couple weeks ago I went to visit Toby Carvery Bridgend and we were serviced by Malika. She was fantastic, very engaging and entertaining! She gave a few of her favourite suggestions from the menu! The desserts were lovely! All round a great place for lunch! The carvery was really great too and you get a lot of the meat trimmings! Overall great experience!
