Tongue & Brisket

1. Finally got to try!

   You have to go here to find out the real meaning of a proper sandwich!

   Brisket was delicious with just the right amount of fat and pickle ratio.. bread was heavenly soft…chips crispy AF.

   It’s £14.50 for The Reuben meal deal (sandwich, chips, soft drink) – very appropriate pricing for the experience!

   Please consider a touch of music and perhaps a beer or cider on the menu…but it wouldn’t stop me from going again just for the sandwich!

2. Popped in for a quick bite to eat and really pleased we did. It’s a small shop, mainly takeaway food, but there’s a few basic tables and we stayed to eat in. The staff were great. Polite and friendly, and the food came out really quick.
   The salt beef in the Reuben was lovely and the sandwich very generously filled. I got the meal deal which came with well cooked crispy chips and a drink too.
   We also had the chicken schnitzel sandwich, which was really good too.
   Would go back.

3. Great tasting sandwich & good value. Had the Ruben & ate it outside on a beautiful afternoon. Team were very helpful & welcoming especially the tall gentleman skilfully carving the various beef cuts. Will definitely be back to try the Turkey & stuffing with a side of gravy.

4. Had the ox tongue sandwich. Beautifully cooked and the ox tongue was very tender. A pity that coffee was just so so. The staff were not the super enthusiastic ones but they did smile and said goodbye when I left, which I think was enough for a small busy restaurant.

5. Quick service, friendly staff. Salt beef and Reuben were very full sandwiches and tasted great. Worth the $. Would return.
