  1. Stopped off in Wrexham for a few hours and were fortunate to find this gem for breakfast. The staff were so friendly and were chatting away to my parents. We all had a hard time picking what to have as it all sounded amazing but I opted for a Glamorgan sausage bap and had a latte. The latte was lush and strong and the bap was flavoursome. Wish this place was closer to my hometown as I would be here all the time!

  2. Taking a tour of Wrexham when we stopped at this lovely shop. Food was amazing, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The prices were very reasonable and the quality and size of the portions were perfect. I am recommending to all my friends to come to North Wales, come to Wrexham, and make sure they support great local businesses like To^st! You will feel like a local by the time you leave there!

  3. Visited here for the first time today for breakfast with a couple of friends. I will definitely be back. It is a cosy wee place, the staff are friendly and efficient and the food was very fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit *****

  4. Much more than just a cup of tea! I read in the news recently at someone’s shock at having to pay £2.20 for a cuppa in To^st. It’s not just a tea bag, it’s the takeaway cup, the electric to boil the water, the cost of the milk and sugar, and the wages of the person pouring and serving you. If you enjoy it in the cafe, then it’s the cost of heating the place too (or keeping it cool). It’s the cost of providing the service as well as the end product. This is one of the reasons I am happy to pay £2.20 for a cuppa here. The owners are lovely, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is delicious. But also, it’s just a lovely place to be, a little oasis in the middle of Wrexham city centre. I can’t fault it. 🥰

  5. i’ve only been the once but my mum/sister rave about it. a rightly praised, lovely community-focused café that Wrexham is more than lucky to have. it makes me so angry (*breath*) to see such sweet, dedicated hospitality workers (!) be sent spiteful, petty letters about their tea prices like they’re Out There for charging modest, competitive prices for their goods!

local is as local does, and to^st supports other suppliers and contributes to the local economy by providing brilliant Welsh food/drink as much as other great local offerings. this is a Good thing! to be proud of! that any person who cares about What Pensioners Can Afford or should have access to, would know this bc your money goes somewhere! this isn’t Greggs, it’s to^st.

ps. great vegan options too ! x
