  1. Great food here and extremely busy. The food was amazing and I would definitely return. I have given a 4* due to the service and the wait time for the food after ordering. I understand that they was busy so it’s not a major issue.
Portions are good portions and price of food is respectable for London and its location expect to pay £40-£50 at least per person here nevertheless I will definitely return for some more lobster combos and mac and cheese when I’m in the area.

  2. I came here for dinner and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff were super friendly and accommodating to the fact that I was with a small child. We reserved a table but not sure if that was necessary as there seemed to be space despite it being a Saturday evening.

We ordered a bucket which had a variety of things as well as a few sides as we were a group of 3. The bucket is advertised as being for one person and I definitely agree with this apart from the £50 price tag. Despite having the sides it was best for one person to enjoy since the portions of the crab and lobster tail are quite small. Each aspect of the meal was equally delicious from the chicken thighs to the bang bang prawns. As for the sides, I would say they are quite small for the price, for example the Spanish rice portion wasn’t worth £5 despite being very nice.

Overall, I really enjoyed my time here, the reason why I couldn’t give 5 stars is due to the pricing and portion sizing.

  3. I visited Trap Kitchen in Camden with my friend. We weren’t hungry, but we wanted to try the food, so we shared a meal. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice as well. We got the macaroni and cheese as a side, and I thought it was pretty decent. It is very local, and I would like to go back to try other things on the menu. I also think the portion sizes are fair. However, I would say the waffle dessert isn’t anything special—it isn’t the best. I’m looking forward to visiting again on an empty stomach and updating my review.

  4. We had a fantastic time at Trap kitchen in the heart of Camden Town. We came on a Wednesday evening and it was a pretty chilled vibe. The restaurant was more or less empty.

The service was professional and the waiter had good knowledge about the history of the shop and owner when asked. It was lovely to learn about the journey of Trap Kitchen which has a great reputation for its food.

The food was delicious 🤤 and came out pretty fast. The waffles didn’t taste fresh as in made in a waffle machine leaving a crispy finish but everything tasted good and left our belly’s full.

We deeply miss the Balham branch and hope to see something in the south of London soon.

I will definitely recommend visiting Trap kitchen. You won’t be disappointed!

  5. This place serves some of the best food I’ve had! I was totally thrown at how good it was. The mac and cheese was amazing. The fried catfish, lobster, wings – everything was too good!

So much flavour in every mouthful, I will 100% go back.

Only two downsides were the cost (quite expensive) and not the biggest portions, but the quality, and taste sensation trumped this.

    10/10 worth a visit.
