Twelve Eatery

1. Fantastic food and excellent service. 100% vegan with interesting and exciting dishes. On this occasion, we ordered the same dish and were a little disappointed, but every other occasion has been incredible, so pitting it down to wrong ordering. Looking forward to visiting again.

2. Amazing food and super friendly customer service. I’m vegan and visited with 3 non-vegan friends. Everyone was very impressed with the food quality and creativity. From the starters we had the ‘Camambert’ and ‘scallops’, I was never into seafood so was skeptical of the latter but it was amazing. We also had open lasagne, ‘steak’ and chips, tofu and chips, and a couple of other dishes. The cheesecake was out of this world!

3. Saw Twelve in a list of top vegan restaurants to visit in the UK so just had to book. Staying in Bournemouth for 2 nights to come here. We had the table for the evening so could take it easy. Great menu with plenty of choices. Food was superb, fresh and tasty and nicely presented. Service was polite and warm. We were sat next to a couple who were visiting from Wokingham that we ended up chatting with for ages. Lovely couple and it was the mans birthday as well. We had the scallops, raw lasagne, fillet steak followed by cheesecake and sorbet. Will come back for the tasting menu in Sept if it’s on and we can get a spot.

4. Twelve was recommended by people on a Facebook page, however I found it quite disappointing. It took 25 mins from being sat down to being asked for our drink orders. Then 15 mins after that for our food orders to be taken. However the scallops were amazing and I would recommend them. I did order the steak as I was looking forward to it, however I thought it lacked flavour. It had a strange texture to it and was just strange. The sides to it were tasty though. We asked the table next to us what they thought as they also ordered the steak and they agreed that it was strange, with a weird texture to it. I wish I had ordered the burger as that looked good!

5. Excellent service. Delicious food. Clever use of vegetarian and vegan concepts to create tasty and splendid dishes. Eaten here two nights running and still happy to explore the menu more. Great vibe and playlist too. Staff are very happy to talk through the menu in detail and ingenious burger, chicken and steak creations with gorgeous flavours and no meat. Highly recommended.
