  1. Two Hoots Tea Room at Devil’s Bridge offers a delightful dining experience amidst the picturesque landscapes of rural Wales. Situated near the famous waterfalls and historic bridge, this charming tea room combines warm hospitality with a menu that caters to diverse tastes.

Our dining experience at Two Hoots began with a selection of hearty mains. The burger was a standout, featuring a juicy beef patty nestled in a soft, toasted bun with crisp lettuce and fresh tomato. It was accompanied by a generous portion of golden fries, perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.

The salmon with poached egg was equally satisfying. The salmon was cooked to perfection, flaky and flavorful, complemented by a perfectly poached egg that added a creamy richness to each bite. The dish was elegantly presented and served with a side of seasonal vegetables that added a refreshing touch.

For dessert, we indulged in their ice cream, which was a delightful conclusion to our meal. The ice cream was rich and creamy, with a variety of flavors to choose from, each offering a perfect balance of sweetness and texture.

The ambiance at Two Hoots is cozy and inviting, with rustic decor and friendly service that adds to the overall charm. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish.

While the tea room can be busy during peak times, the quality of the food and the serene surroundings make it a worthwhile stop. Whether you’re craving a hearty meal or looking to treat yourself to a sweet dessert, Two Hoots Tea Room at Devil’s Bridge offers a delightful blend of comfort, flavor, and Welsh hospitality in a truly enchanting setting.

  2. Lovely tea room at the end of the Devil’s Bridge train ride from Aberystwyth. The staff are very friendly and the treats are most excellent.
It is a shame that the Vale of Rheidol Railway has decided that they don’t give a hoot about Two Hoots by booting out the staff they shutter it. This is a local attraction which will leave a big hole in the economy.

  3. We stopped here between train journeys and had cakes and drinks. It’s a really lovely spot, great atmosphere. Quite busy but we got seats. They had vegan cakes – a really delicious chocolate and orange Jaffa cake!

  4. Wow,what an amazing breakfast I had here.Everything was top quality especially the sausage and bacon and I loved how it was served,A nod to the old days when the steam train crew used to use a shovel to cook there breakfast on..staff were so friendly aswell and went out of there way to help.plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and very well priced..if I didn’t live 200 odd miles away I’d definitely be a regular here..loved everything about it

  5. Very sad to hear what has happened to this lovely cafe. Visited twice earlier in the year while on holiday. First visit arrived on the train and second visit by car as we’d enjoyed the food, friendly atmosphere and the setting so much. Very disappointed in The Vale of Rheidols decision.
